Security First Insurance Agency is looking the perfect addition to our commercial lines team. Stakeholder Client Accountabilities:
• Independently manage assigned accounts on a day-to-day basis which includes coordinating all services, answering all questions, and resolving problems which may arise.
• Work closely with sales team on new and renewal business.
• Review prospect policies for coverage gaps.
• Solely responsible for having an understanding of assigned accounts in order to give proper advice for changing situations, which may require modifications to existing coverage.
• Prepare submissions, as needed, for the marketing of accounts including obtaining driver/vehicle lists, loss runs, experience modification worksheets, acord/supplemental applications, and other items as requested.
• Prepare loss summaries and narratives.
• Obtain quotes from potential carriers, both standard and E&S markets, for new and renewal business, including online quoting.
• Negotiate and secure the most appropriate carrier coverage based upon client needs and negotiate the cost of those coverages.
• Independently review, compare and determine which option is best for the client including endorsements, subjectivities and exclusions.
• Prepare summaries, proposals, synopses, analyses, and special projects.
• Understand and prepare Finance Agreements.
• Expand/round-out existing accounts by identifying potential gaps or necessary increases in coverage, recommending and implementing.
• Work independently or in conjunction with sales to answer insured questions and obtain bind order.
• Bind coverage including obtaining appropriate forms and documents to do so.
• Issue coverage documents including binders, certificates, evidence of property, auto ID cards.
• Solely responsible for ensuring all the terms and conditions of the insurance policies written by the insurance company are properly prepared and provide all of the coverage that was quoted, presented and bound.
• Respond to client and carrier inquiries, maintain and enhance the company’s relationships with existing clients by executing proactive and ongoing contact initiatives.
• Make decisions regarding the resolution of all moderate and complex customer service problems: research and resolve coverage issues, audit issues, billing discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Independently enter and maintain all information in AMS360 & ImageRight while maintaining a current suspense list in ImageRight.
• Utilizing the Steps and Priorities in ImageRight on a daily basis.
• Be comfortable in a paperless environment and able to maintain electronic file and documentation of all correspondence.
• Review insurance policies, endorsements and audits for accuracy and email to insured.
• Reviews contracts and special certificate of insurance requests for compliance and response to insured.
• Proactively maintain partnership with the sales team by keeping them informed of pertinent information regarding the accounts and provide support and assistance for the development of the business.
• Research and maintain industry knowledge of developing trends regarding carrier underwriting, appetite and pricing changes. Apply knowledge to negotiation of policies to provide best comprehensive coverage to clients.
• Understand agency billing, including fees and taxes, forwarding invoices to accounting, providing invoices to insureds and maintaining a current account recievable.
• Collect information on new claims and turn in to carrier, provide support during the claim process. Follow up on outstanding claims and work to reduce reserves.
• Maintain ongoing relationships with carrier underwriters and marketing reps.
• Follow up on notices of cancellation and reinstatements.
• Review weekly reports
• Proactively review and work on expirations lists and review with sales team.

• Know and understand the agency vision, mission and core values and practice on a daily basis.
• Share company vision with clients and ask for referals and recommendations.
• Five Standard Monthly Meetings – Individual with Manager – Monthly. Team – Weekly. All Agency Stakeholder – Monthly.
• Ability to work with internal and external clients at all levels.
• Ability to follow processes and procedures and help develop new processes and procedures to help the company become more efficient

• Ability to understand and manage complex projects while working under tight schedules and deadlines.

• High School Diploma/GED, College Education Preferred
• Colorado Property and Casualty License
• 5 years Commercial Lines Insurance Experience
• CISR, CIC Designations Preferred
• Online Rating Experience
• Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel & Adobe
• Preferred AMS360, ImageRight & CSR24 Experience
